Forouzan crude oil
Forouzan crude oil is one of the types of crude oil produced in Iran, extracted from the Forouzan oil field. This field is located in the Persian Gulf near Kharg Island and is shared with Saudi Arabia’s Marjan oil field. It was discovered in 1966 with an estimated oil in place of around 2.3 billion barrels.
Forouzan crude is one of the four main types of crude oil exported by Iran, alongside Iranian Light, Iranian Heavy, and Soroush crude oil.
